In order for the event to run smoothly, please adhere to the following schedule.

Candidates of the following majors please arrive before 11:30 a.m.:

Please arrive on time!

Administration, collection of robes:

Firstly, please complete the administrative tasks related to the ceremony (e.g.: signing the diploma registration papers) and collect the robes in room D9 (to the right of the entrance) of building “D” of the Faculty (Pécs, Vörösmarty u. 3.).

Candidates are requested to bring a blue pen for reasons of administration.

Candidates are requested to arrive early for a full rehearsal from 12:50 in Széchenyi tér. Please note that only candidates who attend the full rehearsal can receive their diploma at the ceremony for reasons of logistics!

Return of robes

After the event, please return your robe and accessories in room D9 (to the right of the entrance) of building “D” of the Faculty (Pécs, Vörösmarty u. 3.).

Dress code: Formal wear is also obligatory under the robe! Women must wear a suit with gala shoes that are closed toe and heel, while men must wear a dark suit, a tie and dark blucher shoes. 

Depending on the weather, the jacket may not be required and light summer clothing can be appropriate. The organisers will let you know about this on the event’s day.

A professional photographer will be taking photos of candidates during the ceremony. To view them and order copies (both electronic and hard), please visit diplomafoto.hu. Graduates will be notified by email when the photos are developed. Please sign your statement of consent for the delivery of your email address when collecting your robe.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on a large LED wall facing the south side of the square.

Please be informed that the video clip of the PTE ETK song will be shot at the event.

For a smooth and safe outdoor event, please read the following useful information:

• Drivers should use the attached map to learn about parking. Please note that only paid parking lots are available across downtown and access to the historic centre of Pécs is subject to permission.

• There will be a tent on the premises to cast some shadow and provide shelter against the rain in bad weather but you are also advised to use an umbrella and/or wear a straw hat.
• The Faculty’s Institute of Emergency Care and Pedagogy of Health, in cooperation with the National Ambulance Service, will have first aid patrol units on the premises. 
• If you feel sick, please contact the first aid patrol units, the organisers or directly the ambulance staff on the premises.
• Bathrooms are located in the faculty buildings about 80-120 m from the event venue (Mária u. 5-7; Apáca street block; Szepesy Ignác u. 1-3.) Accessible bathrooms are located in the buildings of Szepesy street.
• Please note that you may only take photos from the designated places.
• For reasons of safety, please keep clear of all escape routes and strictly follow the instructions of the organisers seeking their help about any problem, question or comment.
