Established in 1989, the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Pécs first awarded health science degrees at its summer graduation ceremony in 1993. The biggest celebration of the Faculty brings together the newly graduated health, sports, social and welfare professionals and their guests with the Faculty’s lecturers and teaching assistants.
As usual the graduation ceremony will take place in Széchenyi tér in the historic downtown of Pécs.
Key information for candidates:
To make the event run smoothly, graduates of the Pécs and Kaposvár Training Centres should collect their robes between 8 and 8.30 am, those of the Szombathely and Zalaegerszeg Training Centres should do so between 8.30 and 9 am in Room A1 (ground floor) of Building “A” of the Faculty (Pécs, Vörösmarty u. 4.), and both groups should do all paperwork (collecting Europass diploma supplement, signing the graduation register, etc.) in the basement hallway of Building “A”.
Candidates are requested to arrive early.
Candidates are requested to arrive early for a full rehearsal from 9.15 am in Széchenyi tér. Please note that only candidates who attend the full rehearsal can receive their diploma at the ceremony for reasons of logistics.
Dress code: Please dress appropriately. Women must wear a suit with gala shoes that are closed toe and heel, while men must wear a dark suit, a tie and dark blucher shoes. Formal wear is also obligatory under the robe. Depending on the weather, the jacket may not be required. The organisers will let you know about this on the event’s day. A professional photographer will be taking photos of candidates during the ceremony. To view them and order copies (both electronic and hard), please visit diplomafoto.hu. Graduates will be notified by email when the photos are developed. Please sign your statement of consent for the delivery of your email address when collecting your robe.
After the ceremony is over, graduates are requested to gather for a family photo on the southern side of the Holy Trinity statue.
After the event, please return your robe and accessories in Building “A” of the Faculty.
