However, times are changing, and in these times of calamity, we were more than sad to learn about the atrocities experienced by the students of our University and the Faculty of Health Sciences, only because they are not Hungarian. Beyond our compassion and outrage, we would like you to know that us at the faculty fully distance ourselves from these manifestations and stand up for you!

We firmly believe that all human beings are equal, no matter if they come from a highly COVID-19 infected country or not, and they should not be subjects to any form of atrocity, our faculty strongly condemns these scenarios.

We are proud of you, our students - Hungarian or International - because you have chosen a profession that entails helping your fellow human beings, either in Hungary or in your home country.

We are proud of you and you are important to our community, as you bring a new colour, culture, attitude to the life of our Faculty and thus to our city!

The spread of the epidemic means a lot of struggles and difficulties for us too, but it may be even harder for You, as you are away from your family and have to deal with the burdens and concerns of a health emergency on a foreign land, in a foreign environment.

We feel with you and it is our commitment besides the education not to let go of your hands now! If you have any problems, please let us know, we will try to help!

You need to know that we stand up for you and you can count on us, because we are your Family here, and the Family stays together!

Please do not hesitate to turn to the colleagues of the Office of International Affairs of UP Faculty of Health Sciences, who are going to do their best to help you preparing for your exams and to assist you in your daily life, even in this taut situation.
