XX. Emergency Days Conference in Pécs

Dear Colleagues and Students,

We warmly invite you to the conference organized by the Institute of Emergency Care, Pedagogy of Health and Nursing Sciences at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Pécs. The main topics of the event include:

• Key Messages of the New ERC Guidelines in the National Context
• Artificial Intelligence in Emergency Care
• Soft Skills and Mental Health in Emergency Care
• Patient Safety Challenges in Emergency Care

Goal of the Conference: To provide an intellectual platform for healthcare professionals and those interested in science.
The accreditation of the conference as a point-earning continuing education course for healthcare and medical professionals is in progress. All participants will be informed of the official credit values after the event, as soon as the credit values will be officially determined.

Date: 2-3 October, 2026 (Friday–Saturday)

Registration opens: 6 July, 2026 (Monday), at 8:00 AM
Registration for the conference is only possible online via the conference website: https://www.etk.pte.hu/psn/

Registration deadline: 21 September, 2026 (Monday), 24:00

Registration Fees:
Early bird registration until 31 August, 2026:

• Healthcare professionals: 20,000 HUF
• Medical doctors: 23,000 HUF
• Other participants: 25,000 HUF

From 1-21 September, 2026:

• Healthcare professionals: 25,000 HUF
• Medical doctors: 28,000 HUF
• Other participants: 30,000 HUF

Active Paramedic, Nurse BSc and Advanced Practice Nursing MSc students are exempt from the registration fee. They are offered a basic registration package (which includes participation in the scientific program, registration package, coffee break) upon verification of an active student status. Verification can be done by uploading a screenshot from the “Studies” → “Semester Data” menu in the Neptun system, clearly showing the semester set to 2026/27/1. Student status verification must be uploaded during registration on the conference website.

The registration fee includes: The registration package, participation in the sessions and the cost of coffee breaks during the programme. Lunches, gala dinner, accommodation and travel costs are not included!

Fees for optional meals:

• Lunch on 2 October, 2026 – 6,000 HUF
• Lunch on 3 October, 2026 – 6,000 HUF
• Gala Dinner on 2 October, 2026 – 15,000 HUF

Accommodation must be arranged individually, for discounted accommodation please visit the conference website, under the Accommodation section.

Billing: Please transfer the participation fee and the cost of selected meals to the bank account of the University of Pécs held at MBH Bank.

The invoice for the payment will be issued by the UP Chancellor's Office based on the data provided on the registration site.

Please note: if you fail to indicate an invoice request during registration, we will not be able to issue an invoice afterwards. The registration fee cannot be refunded by the organising committee.
