Demonstrator scholarships can only be awarded to students who engage in appropriate educational, scientific activities, and participates in the Scientific Students' Associations Conference, and their average is more than 3.5 in the pre-application semester.
You must verify these with your supervisor and submit your application with the proposal of the supervisor and the Head of Department who is responsible for the education. Data for the applications are controlled by the Registrar’s Office.
For the application the form – download here - needs to be submitted (Supervisor, Head of Institute/ Head of Department must sign the form before submitting the application!), attached with a motivation letter, in which the student describes his / her activities, achievements and the goals he / she wishes to achieve, and the copies of learning outcomes, documents certifying professional or scientific work.
Content of the proposal:
The student who won the scholarship must actively participate in the academic work (education) in the adequate campus, and Institute/Department, and participate in the Scientific Students' Associations Conference. After the scholarship is awarded, the Head of Institute/ Department - with the involvement of the relevant supervisor – define tasks in a written form for the student. The student must prepare a written report every six months on the performance of the tasks to the President of the Faculty’s Research Committee, on the basis of a form available from the Campus’s Responsible Person of Scientific Students' Associations Conference.
The Demonstrator scholarship is for 10 months, the scholarship is 20,000 HUF / month.
If the student’s average falls below 3.5 at the end of the semester or if he / she does not fulfill his / her educational / Scientific Students' Associations Conference work, the scholarship can be withdrawn on the proposal of the supervisor.
The application must be submitted to the Faculty's Registrar’s Office (Pécs, Váradi Antal u. 4., 7621). Please indicate on the envelope: „Application for Demonstrator Scholarship”. Deadline for the application:
14. June 2019. (Friday) 12:00 am
(we are not accepting applications received after the deadline)
The ranking is done by the Scientific Committee of the Faculty, with special emphasis on the professional performance at the Scientific Students' Associations Conference.
Proposals containing formal shortcomings are not ranked (eg: missing signature of the Supervisor, or Head of Institute/ Department) academic, professional, and other activities that are not proved by valid documents are not taken into account.
