We would like to inform you that the renovation of Building „A” at Vörösmarty str. 4. has reached the next stage.

From 5th December 2024, the access within the building will change as follows:

The Vörösmarty staircase (from the Vörösmarty str side, main entrance) can be used up to the first floor.

The corridor on the ground floor will not be accessible.

The section of the Vörösmarty staircase (from the Vörösmarty str side, main entrance) connecting floors I and II will be out of use.

For this reason, during the renovations, the classrooms and offices on the second floor, as well as the A1 classroom and the gallery of the main lecture hall, will be accessible by a detour through the first-floor corridor, using only the Janus staircase (from the Janus str side, side entrance).

The Janus (from the Janus str side, side entrance) staircase will remain fully usable during the renovations.

The next important change to the organization of access within the building will be the opening of the Janus Street entrance on 6th January 2025, which will provide access to all classrooms and offices except the main lecture hall and classroom A5. Access to the latter will continue to be via the main entrance on Vörösmarty street.

It is intended that, from 13th January 2025, access to and from the building will again be via the Vörösmarty Street entrance.

Please use caution when navigating the building during the works, and follow the directional signs.

The renovations will be noisy and dusty, so we would like to thank you in advance for your patience and ask for your understanding for any inconvenience caused.
