Latest restrictive measures

11 november 2020 Hírek Faculty news

Dear Students!

Two days ago, the Prime Minister of Hungary announced further restrictive measures as the epidemic situation is getting worse.

Yesterday, the National Assembly of Hungary is expected to adopted these measures, after which the UP Operational Staff met at 4 pm and took appropriate measures for the university.

Consequently, regardless of the fact that we are constantly preparing for the situation with several alternatives, our faculty can only provide limited information about the educational order in effect from tomorrow. I can assure you that we want to represent the interests of the students as far as possible when taking the measures assigned to the faculty!

Please be informed that from November 11, 2020 (Wednesday) all theoretical lessons take place within the framework of online education! So, in accordance with the timetable, education takes place through the MS TEAMS application.

In terms of practical sessions, the institutes assess which subjects are suitable for online education and which are those that will be necessary and possible to complete later. Regarding the practical sessions, we will provide detailed information with the involvement of the institute responsible for the training.

The prime minister’s announcement also affected the evacuation of dormitories. Currently, we do not have any specific information, however, the faculty will do everything possible to ensure that our students participating in the international programmes could stay in the dormitories.

All further clarifying information will be sent to everybody concerned as soon as via Neptun message or the faculty website and Facebook page.

We’ll keep taking care of each other!
